The archaeological site of Paestum is renowned for its three remarkably well-preserved ancient Greek temples built in the Doric style, dating back to roughly 550–450 BC. Much of the original city remains visible today, including large sections of the defensive walls and the amphitheater, along with the foundations of numerous other buildings and stretches of ancient paved roads.
The surrounding area is also celebrated as one of Italy’s प्रमुख regions for the production of buffalo mozzarella. For this reason, a visit to a traditional buffalo farm is highly recommended, offering a closer look at how this famous cheese is made.
Please note that the entrance fee for the mozzarella farm visit is not included in the tour price.
